In 2014 the South African 'charity' organization called "Feed A Child" published this ad to solicit support, but it went totally wrong.

The goal was to show that dogs and other pets eat much better than poor kids, but their choice of pairing was wrong in an era of racial sensitivity. They would have the effect had they shown the white woman feeding a dog with the finest beef, then flash the price tag of $700. Or show a wealthy black woman treating the black kid as her pet.

The stereotypical context of the skit implied that 1, only white people are wealthy and 2, black kids are like pet dogs who will do what ever their white master commands.

The ad was pulled within days of its release.
